Care Bear Learning has the following age milestones that meet the needs of every child in our facility to
provide the best quality care to ensure a nurturing learning environment.
Early Learning
Love & Care : 0-12 Months
Individualized attention in a vibrant, nurturing environment provides infants with a wealth of love and activities that bring out that sparkle in their eyes.
Infants are delicate in every way, and require someone full of patience and love to meet their subtle needs.Care Bear Learning Center, infants are cared for in a responsive environment that reinforces the warmth, security and attention they are used to receiving at home. We work closely with the family to develop individualized feeding, playing and sleeping schedules that are suitable for you and your child’s needs.
Our Love and Care program assists each infant in developing his or her senses and mastering motor skills such as crawling, standing and walking. We collaborate closely with parents to ensure your infant develops a healthy sense of trust, learns to laugh, give and take affection and understand simple directions.
Moving On : 12-24 Months
We respond to the growing curiosity and exploration your toddler is experiencing with fun learning activities and creative playtime.
We recognize this stage of your child’s development as one of curiosity and exploration. You can see it in their eyes as they begin to view the world with wonderment rather than confusion. Look at Me Go: 2 Years
Learning and social development are kept lively and entertaining for your two year-olds as we begin to introduce them to an enlightened world of fun through learning.
At this young age, your child’s development is dependent on his or her experiences with love, learning and social interaction. Integrating these elements into our Look at Me Go program, your child will be given opportunities to share and cooperate with others in small groups. They listen to stories, dramatize daily events and are given plenty of time to interact with adults and other children. Weekly themes are integrated into the curriculum to keep learning interactive as we encourage language development, cognitive skills, imaginative playtime, creativity, physical activity and emotional development. Ages 3-5
My World: 3-5 Years old
With a focus on preparing your child for his or her school years, we identify individual needs in each developmental area so your child is socially and cognitively ready for school.
My World is designed for children who will enter Pre K 3, Pre K4,and kindergarten the following school year. This program builds on the preschool curriculum, with an additional emphasis on skills that prepare them for kindergarten. Educational activities offer experiences in language, math, science, social studies, music and art. Teachers encourage the growth of each child’s self-esteem, cultural identity, independence and individual strengths. Children are developing control of their own behavior through the guidance and support of professional, caring teachers who use their expertise to provide for each child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual needs.
